I just wanted to post a pic of my sx lap steel that I just upgraded with a new bridge from trembley guitars. I am going to fly mod it so more pics to come. |

Stupid iPhone. I just wanted to say that I will be adding more mods. Don't know what a fly mod is. Sheesh! |

Put a vintage pup in it and it will sing with the best of them. |

That's a much more sensible lap steel bridge than the graduated Les Paul style bridge they currently use. I look forward to seeing what other changes you make to your guitar. _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

My friend just recently upgraded his tele and has offered me his bridge pup to use. I will just have a bit of a routing job. I also grabbed new pots, capacitor and jack. The new pots are too big so I need to route the control plate area as well. Just not sure what to do with hiding the holes left from the old bridge. |

For something cheap and easy, check your local hardware store, Lowes, Home Depot, etc, for some hole plugs. They just pop in and come in a lot of standard sizes in both plastic and chrome finishes. _________________ Some misc pics of my hand crafted steels

You could hide the holes with a strategically placed chrome cover over the bridge.
One intended for a Fender bass might fit?
