Fretboard Journal is streaming the new CD by 20-something fingerpicking wiz Daniel Bachman. He plays acoustic steel on the first cut. This is John Fahey, Robbie Basho territory.

Thanks, for the link, Andy. David Bachman honors the the late musicians Fahey and Basho. However, I hear more Fahey in the song on your link.

To my ear, Robbie Basho has more middle eastern influences with his playing:
