This guitar belonged to Elvis Roy Ray, who passed away about 5 years ago. The family asked me to help in selling. The finish is Formica, and is in good shape. Pedal action is good, none stiff. E-9 set up, A,B,C, are standard, LKR lowers E's, RKL raises E-s, RKRlowers 2ND.

Mechanics appear clean, maybe could use oiling.

My Ray apparently was a tall man, I see evidence of raising the legs, by useing wooden dowels in the smaller section of legs. I believe the dowels removed would allow simple lower to normal hgt.

The rods were cut and lengthened, rewelded. One might could replace the 2" turnbuckkes with smaller, shorter threaded sleeve and shorten by about 1" ?

Also available is Goodrich pedal model 120, and Goodrich Matchbox, and Peavey cache card for Profex.

In my opinion, this is a good solid player, and the mechanics felt good to me. I'm not sure what tuning Mr Ray had on the C-6 neck, but everything seemed to be in working order. E-9 neck was fairly close to being in tune after sitting in case for several years. Pedals and KL tuned right up. Thanks for Looking. Lonnie

I lived in Donalsonville Ga for 5 years and moved back one year ago. I knew Roy Ray and he was a good man and a good player. I think he played the c 6th neck mostly. tommytstrat@yahoo.com
