I posted a 'wanted' ad looking for pickup blend wheels for my T-8 Stringmaster. I got a reply saying that someone had posted here that they're making repros. I can't seem to find that thread.

One of you able to point me in the right direction? (Or if you have one or two or three available, that would be terrific as well...)

Thanks!

Yesterday I found an envelope that carried the blend wheel knob.
The sender is:
Armadillo Machine Works
3813 Willowbrook Dr.
Austin, TX 78722

I think it was about $11.00

EDIT:
Here it is:

Chris,
I did a Forum search and found where Ron Victoria made some reproduction blend knobs out of brass and was charging $21 delivered.

Thanks, Erv. Good to know there's a range of sources for these kinds of things.

For those of you singing along... I just ordered three from Armadillo. If you can tolerate not having original parts, it seems like they're making a lot a great repro pieces at very reasonable prices. Mostly parts for six string electrics, though. Friendly, helpful, and good prices - very positive first impression.

Just a quick update on Armadillo. I got the parts and they're well-made. Here's the part I want to underscore. Because of issues with the guitar - NOT the parts - two of them don't fit. Michael from Armadillo was right on it with ideas on how to alter the parts or come up with a whole new design - affordably to boot - to make things work.

Highly recommended.
