Here is an HSC preamp with everything you need to turn a Humbucking pickup into a quiet single coil pickup in a less than 1/2 hour.
It comes with a brand new jack, instructions, power supply and tip to ring cord.
No strings to take off just change the output jack and you can still use the full humbucker if you want to A/B the sound.
I have 2 and I am keeping one.
These cost $200.00 new and will sell at best offer over $75.00 and I'll pick up shipping cost Lower 48.
Entire funds go to for SGF and offer ends Sept. 10 PST.

I don't see how this can possibly work unless the humbucker is wired with a coil split option to begin with. Is there an explanation provided in the documentation? |

Here is the HSC website explaining how the HSC preamp works. A humbucker pickup has two coils and the replacement jack has three leads and with the ring/tip cord eliminates one coil. However, even though you are using one coil, the other next to it gives you the added benefit of single coil PU with the humbucking benefit.

Just a refreasher bump. The fact that I am keeping one unit means it does what it says it will do. I have been thinning the heard and not playing out any longer. I have one in the studio and used to keep one in my pack seat. |
