Well it's early I know but I;m posting anyway because I'm excited and it's always on my mind.
Dates are Nov 7th, 8th and 9th at the Benton, Il civic center.
Featured players so far confirmed are; TOMMY WHITE, DOUG JERNIGAN, BUCK REID, RON ELLIOTT, LYNN OWSLEY, EDDIE DUNLAP AND a pending (non-confirmed) Mike Johnson.
As usual we will have a great Nashville backup group and special guests (vocalists) such as AMBER MARTIN, DAVID CHAMBERLAIN, DOTTIE JACK, JEAN DEVORE and more. Motel rates ai the Super 8 and the Magnuson (I-57 exit 71 --Benton) for steel show attendees is $49.95.

Hey guys and gals, the 'ole legend Jim Vest has commited to appear at our Benton,
il show this year.Due to physical problems Jim has been unable to play for the past 4 to 5 years. However with some therapy and lots of encouragement from guys like Lynn Owsley he is swiftly regaining his ability to play and he is determined to give it his best shot in November. I hope you all can be there to cheer him on.
He might even play some of his famous intros like Set'Em Joe, Slide Off Your Satin Sheet, etc..
I'm also expecting Shannon Todd and Eddie Dunlap. See you there....Bobby |
