After playing a more backyard version of this for several years I finally finished a little more uptown model. It has benders on the E9 neck (E-B-D-E-G#/A-B/C#-E-F#). I tune the close neck C6, no benders. The pickups are Dimarzio "PAF"s and the scale is 23.5". After getting all the kinks out I am pleased. The B/C# bender works as a knee lever. The G#/A bender I engage with my arm.

Nice! How about some close up pix of the bender mechanism.

Here's one of the benders close up. The "wrist bender" is up now. When in the case it swivels down. The knee bender is unscrewed from its socket to sit flat. -- In a few weeks I'll post some of it being played.
