Hi folks, does anyone know where I can get a "conversion ring" to use 12" speaker in a cabinet made for 15" ?
I had seen it, but I can't find where I saw it-- |

Looked up some old bookmarks. I knew they'd come in handy one day.
I'm all for doing what you are doing but there are online discussions that question the wisdom. The baffle coupled with the speaker can be a 'living, breathing' thing. The ring could disrupt this. I'd only worry if it is a particularly fine sounding cabinet with a thin baffle. If it's just slabs of plywood or particle board with a thick, rigid baffle, no harm, I can't imagine. |

I would just get a new baffle made for the 12" speaker - I would think the converter ring would rattle _________________ Milkmansound.com |

I'm thinking of trying on "Marrs ultra lite" cabinet.
What do you guys think about that? |
