Does anybody know of any software for the Pedal Steel Guitar that works on a MAC. I've been looking at Dapper, and Clicktab...but doesn't look like either one
supports Macintosh....any suggestions?

Tab Edit
http://www.tabledit.com/download/index.shtml

I have never used it, and it appears the full version is $59. Lots of info on the website, including screen shots.

Nice looking tab. software Scott, but I'm looking for something like the Dapper Dan software, or Click tab shown in links above under Steel related products. I want something that shows the copedents, and pedals, levers, etc. Showing you the different combinations, and scales, pockets, etc. on the neck of the E9 tuning. If anyone sees something like this for a MAC format, please let me know, or please pass on the link.

I use tabledit on OS X and like it. An example of something I created with it is available at http://jsbpedalsteelguitar.s3.amazonaws.com/StarSpangledBanner.pdf. It doesn't cost much and does what it claims to do.

Hi Howard,

It doesn't do tab at all, but my website can do scales/modes which I guess includes pockets as well. Not sure if that is what you're after though.

See this thread for more info.

Cheers,
Trevor.

Howard, perhaps you should look at running Parallels to use Windows software on your Mac if there is a particular one you would really like to use.
