For sale: clean natural maple Pedalmaster "The General" SD-10 with 3 pedals, 5 knee levers
• Single 10 E9 neck on double wide body with black pad, excellent condition
• Wood neck
• Sounds terrific! I suspect the exceptional tone comes partially through the keyhead and the changer enclosure, both are solid, 1-piece hunks of metal
• 3 pedals (Emmons setup)
• 5 knee levers
• additional changer finger for double stop, similar to Carters
• Triple raise/triple lower changer
• George L E-66 pickup
• Standard height, 26" to bottom of cabinet. Rear legs have only minimally adjustable leg ends; if you need a taller steel, plan on getting typical chrome plated rear legs with more extensibility for this steel
• Serial #4896
• Hard-shell case in excellent condition, with sleeve for legs and rods
Price is $1500.00, which includes shipping/insurance in the U.S., expertly packed. No trades, please.
COPEDENT:
Pedals are standard Emmons setup
LKL: raises E's to F
LKV: raises string 1 F# to G#; string 7 F# to G
LKR: lowers B's to A#
RKL: lowers E's to D#
RKR: lowers string 2 to D/C#; string 9 D to C#

Not a better guitar ever built. Roy Thomas did a great job and put a lot of pride into his guitars. This is a really good price for a top quality Pro guitar. I know, I used to own one. Good luck with the sale. Larry _________________ Mullen G2 SD10 3 & 5 The Eagle

This guitar might be a little heavier than other guitars like a Carter but... that is because Roy used the best heavy duty hardware he could find. It's Hard Rock Maple. Even the pad has threaded screws to hold it on.
High quality all the way.....
Just ask another builder...what he thinks...
I think this guitar is priced way too cheap...
It should sell very fast...
Good Luck...
BTW..I have a PedalMaster 2003 SD-10 Low Profile two tone, tone monster myself. I try to never take it out of my studio. Way too nice of a guitar...
People just don't know how nice these guitars are until they play one... |

Roy Thomas built great guitars. They are a little heavier than some builders but are built to last. I played one of Roy's guitar for six years, '94-2000 then sold it to a good friend of mine who plays it now and as far as I know no problems for the last 13 years he has had it. Roy and Gene Fields bought some bulk parts together to be able to get better pricing. Roy is no longer building guitars due to age and health problems but there will be many around for years and years.
