When I announced "Hawaiian Night" at the local Italian restaurant where I usually perform jazz and pop, Don Woods said, "I hope this starts a trend."
Indeed, it did as we sold out an Italian restaurant with Hawaiian music. So I have been asked to do it again next Tuesday evening at Villa Rosa Ristorante in Ewing, NJ (with easy access to I-95 and NJ Transit). The theme is "Sultry Slack Key and Steel Guitar." And Chef Vittorio will again put together a special menu of both Polynesian and Italian creations.
