This is without a doubt one of the most famous Steel Guitar Solos ever written by a hero of mine: Buddy Emmons.
It's not new but and it took me until now to really try to play the song and on a Non Pedal Steel at that
Please visit my ClicTab page noted below for information on my course for the E9th Lap Steel.
I am adding to the songs included therein namely;
Lilly Dale and this one Blue Jade subject to permission from Buddy?
You can contact me via direct email or a Forum Message.

Roy Thomson, Kurt Kowalski says Hi. He sent me your way when I was asking about tuning for Lap Steel in regards to PSG sound. He mentioned sustain. then when I asked about the E9th tuning on PSG for Lap Steel he said, YES, and to Contact Roy Thomson for lessons. So here I am. I'm aware that we are dealing with two different instruments but there must be a set up to get that special sound or close to it. I have had both PSG and Lap Steels. It's a Long Story. Just let me say I am 80 and carrying a PSG is no fun any more.

Tell me about the lessons Roy.

Hi Wayne,

From reading your post you would be a good candidate to try this tuning. It does work with practice and saves a lot of work.

I have a little course available which could answer all of your questions much better than me talking about it.

Check out my site (See signature below)

And you say "Hi" to Kurt. What an inspiration!!!

Roy
