I have just accepted an offer to return to gigging and will be back out starting Aug 1. No extended touring this time and pretty much local Houston area club gigs. Anyway, I had not had either of my road guitars out of the case since I retired 1&1/2 years ago. They are both identical Legrande II D10 and I would rotate them out, leaving my Mullen at home.. safe! Anyway, when I got the first guitar out, I realized I had a broken tuner on my C6 neck (6th string) I think these are the Grover 210 series. At least that is what it looks like online. Anyone know for certain before I order? _________________ Steve Stallings

Steve...Model 210C. These have the locking pin integrated into the casing that correspond to the matching holes in the keyhead....FYI: When installing tighten backing nut gingerly, they are easily stripped! |

...David that last statement caught my eye, is this an Emmons component you're referring to or a Grover component? |

The old tuning keys on my LeGrande II, were unmarked, and the threaded barrels would loosen up when tuning or changing strings. So I ordered a complete set for each neck, from Emmons. These keys have Grover stamped on them, and they have the pin that lines up to the key head. They're 15bucks apiece, they stay tight, they stay in tune, I'm happy, and my old road dog Emmons is happy. |
