Includes installed Bill Lawrence AND Original BMI single coil pickups, 3 Extra Pedal Rods in 2 sizes, new strings & Hard case in good shape inside and out!
Serial #851 approx. 1984/85
THE MOST Reliable, Consistant, Solid, Sweet sounding steel I have ever owned.
I am down sizing to only 2 light weight guitars so it's time to say goodbye.
I am the second owner, purchased from Forum member 20 years ago. Cleaned, polished & smoke free!
There are some minor scuffs on left rear chrome corner and at least one leg, as well as light pedal bar scuffs. NOTHING at all excessive for an instrument of its maturity.
LKL raises E's. LKR lowers E's. RKR lowers 6 & 2.
It holds tune consistently on & off stage, inside or out, and pedals have stayed true year after year.
$1000 plus shipping or pickup free in Baltimore/DC/South Central PA area.
A great steel at a great price!

Just FYI, that's not a 705 pickup. Looks like a 710.

The lawerence pickup has been in the guitar since I bought it 20 years ago.
That is what the former owner told me he put in.
More modern 705's have rails. Older 705's have the pole pieces.
I honestly do not know but I do trust the former owner, a long time forum member.
The guitar is packed and ready to go!

Ray,
Jon is correct. This isn't a 705, The older 705's had the double rails also. The older 705's had a chrome housing and the newer ones are black or dark grey. It could be a 710.

who cares? This is the best deal I've seen here in a long time. Pro quality guitar at a "starter" price. Very Happy

Thank you Dave O'Brien for your kind words!
I believe I've priced my BMI at a point that would attract some intermediate players who've been waiting to upgrade to a pro steel and can't afford one.
This guitar has always been great to me.
Your kind words let me know that I'm on the right track.

I was just pointing out about the pickup not being a 705. It is a great deal!
