For local Northern Cal. sale. I have a 1963 (tube chart MH) Fender blackface Pro amp for sale. It is in great shape w/3 prong grounded plug added and caps updated. New transformer on back pic left. It has a factory upgrade of a 15" D130F JBL speaker. Like a Vibroverb w/o reverb. Amp's tone and tremolo are sweet sounding. Has tilt legs and amp cover, but no tremolo foot switch. Asking $1800. email: gatmorecords@comcast.net[img][/img][img]

Do these have a tube recifier or solid state recifier?

Looks like a tube in the top left corner of pic - could be wrong, though. Easy enough to convert.

My Pro Reverb has a rectifier tube, and I'm sure the Pro has pretty much the same circuit w/o reverb. 40watts w/2 6L6's.

Yes, it is a tube rectifier. Its an older RCA black base tube w/chimney red lettering.

I believe late 63 was the transition to the black tolex. I have seen factory brown face Fenders in black cabinets from that period. Also black face from late 63. As with all the Fenders there was some overlap. Nice amp.
