Hey Guys , just figured I'd share a picture of my new Linkon S10 made in Winnipeg, Canada by Wayne Link. Notice the very Canadian fretboard with Beavers, Maple Leaf , Caribou's. I still have to name it... lol maybe Scarlett since it's got strawberry blonde colours. Any ideas?

here's a video of it.. I'm thinking of maybe installing a warmer pickup since my modified Maverick also has the 710 installed.

Looks like a well made guitar, it looks and sounds good, and you play well. Keep on pickin'. I've played in Winnipeg, years ago, seems like it was the Balmoral Hotel, in a banquet room.......... I don't know, as I've slept since then............. I do remember it being in the dead of winter, and the only place colder was Edmonton!

thanks Bill! it's definitely cold in Winnipeg during the winter! haha. Wayne used to make a yearly steel show here in Winnipeg but stopped in 2004 sadly I never knew about them as I hadn't ever touched a steel guitar so I missed out on all those great steel shows. I want to go see a few in the states though in the next couple of years

Thanks for all the kind words everyone! I'll take some pics of the undercarriage tonight and post them tomorrow for those that were interested.

As for the tab.. I used Greg Cutshaws tab he had posted as an initial reference and then went from there. If you search Panhandle Rag in the Tab section its one of the only posts I believe.

Gorgeous looking instrument! I'm buying my first pedal steel guitar from Wayne soon and I believe it's the same model. I'm meeting him up in Edmonton in a couple week while he's there. Chatted with him on the phone for quite a while, he's a beauty! I learned a lot about lap steel and pedal steel just talking with him.

Nice sounding steel, love the fretboard! You have a good smooth touch.
The Nashville 112 I'm sending your way is set for my Showpro with BL710's.
I wonder if those same setting will sound good with your steel?
Like it was said before, keep picking!

I always had a great time at the convention Wayne hosted every year at the Airliner Hotel until it ended. The "Super Pickers" house band was top notch. I made a lot of good friends there.

I think he still has a website with pictures of the players.

Wayne was the only person I've ever seen play so well with no finger picks.
