Has anyone played a steel through the new Carr Impala amp? 44 watts, reverb, based on the old Fender Bassman, 1X12, excellent Carr build and sound (I would guess). I am thinking that would be a very nice little steel amp as well as doubling as a great guitar amp.I haven't seen or played with one but if you have please comment.
thanks

Haven't tried an Impala but the Rambler is one of my all time favorites. I've owned two of them, someday I hope to have another. Great for medium volume pedal steel. They have a surprising amount of headroom. I'll bet the Impalas are great too.
