I just acquired this 7 string Ric, and in it's current condition, it is unplayable as a 7 string. Notice the pic of the back of the headstock. Some tuners are missing buttons, one is missing the gear. I''d prefer not to work on this myself, as I'm not that mechanically inclined.

Does anyone know of someplace I could ship this guitar to in order to get it functional? I'm not concerned with original replacement parts. I'm wanting to use is as a player.

I'd like to ship to someone, and when it is shipped back to me -- it has 7 functioning tuners.

Thanks in advance . . . . Steve

Rick Aiello of the SGF has had extensive experience in this area. If he has the time/interest.....he could be a great source of help to you.

I believe SOMEONE mentioned that they'd found a certain brand of Mandolin tuners that fit almost perfectly in the Bakelite holes. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRILL OUT THOSE HOLES...........

Good Luck to you!
