I know this is not anything to do with steel, but because a lot of steel players double up on guitar I wondered if any one can help me with some information on this guitar.
I recently acquired a Starforce USA on the head stock model 8007 guitar ,it is a really nice I believe they were made in Korea in the eighties the neck is a joy to play sounds real good and looks very nice.
The picture is not the actual guitar mine is a high gloss deep burgundy but the same model.
Thanks for any info
Jimmy.

Thank you Barry that`s gives me some idea on the history of this make.
I must add that I am very impressed with the quality of this guitar and the more I play it the more I like it, the neck is an absolute beauty and one of the best I have ever played the sound through my Peavey Stereo Chorus sounds absolutely superb.
Thanks Jimmy...

Is the serial number on a small clear sticker, with gold lettering, on the back of the headstock? I don't know which factory in Korea did this, but I had a "DeArmond" with that and currently own a Schecter C7+ with the same kind of sticker. Both of them are very good guitars. |

Hi David, yes the serial number is on a gold sticker on the back of the neck, and yes I agree this is a real nice guitar, not sure what it would be worth.
Just to add I am trying to find a tremolo arm for this guitar, but don`t know what type would fit,but there are so many Floyd Rose tremolo units I don`t have a clue what would do can anyone help please.
Thanks Jimmy.. |
