I am so sorry to hear this sad news. My prayers are with Teresa and all his family - and of course to all my friends at MSA. Reece was my mentor and I cherish all the years I have studied with him. He was also a great friend and one of the kindest and nicest people ever. I know that he is with the Lord. I am going to really miss him!

This is very sad news, but we all know that Reese has been suffering and we do not want that for anyone.

I can't help but remember back around 1980 when I was about to purchase a new steel. I was looking at the ShoBud Super Pro.
Reese said "Now why would you choose a ShoDud over an MSA?"
He even sent me one of the new model small MSA's to try out.

Great man, great inovator and a Superb musician to be missed by the music world.

I bought my first pedal steel from MSA in 1979. Reece Anderson was the one I dealt with. This is terrible news for the steel guitar community. Such a loss is hard to accept and I pray for his family and friends during this time of sorrow.
