This is a GATOR electric bass case - from Amazon $79...I ripped the bottom molded styrofoam and 'fur' out of it and replaced it with 3 glued and stacked styrofoam insulation boards from the home center... cut out the shape of the guitar with an electric carving knife in the top two layers...spray adhesive and fur from the fabric store...

Works great - about $150...(needs to be a bass case to get 4" of depth)...

Bob Allen thought some others might like to see this solution...
