Sounds like Johnny Sibert to me, but that's just a guess !

I'ts not Noel Boggs but he is using a lot of Bogg's syle and phrasing. Boggs was an enourmous influence on Steel Players through the middle 50's amd was easily imitated on simpler Songs.

Sorry for the late reply!

The singer is one who is almost forgotten these days - Tommy Sosebee. He got help from Red Foley to get his career started, so no surprise that Red's band was backing him up on several of his recordings. Steel is played by Bud Isaacs. Smile
