It's the basic lap steel that is still a very playable, decent sounding instrument. I have been surprised at the quality of the pickup. The guitar has one or two very minor dings, and you have to hunt for them. It appears to be mahogany, but don't quote me on it. Nice faux Klusons. Cheap, slightly better than cardboard gig bag. $100 shipped. Keith 404-963-3226
