Yeah. A real "Killer Group", that's for sure. Neutral

They had a lot of "hits", too.

Yeah, trunk music.
I never watched the show, but this guy always came off as a real decent fellow.
51 is stupid young to die, not fair, no doubt he had some truly legendary roles ahead of him.

I find it kinda creepy how this works - kill off a character in a sensational, famous scene, end the series - and the actor dies. Unlike Superman, who's been killed a number of times but manages to pop back out of a parallel universe or smokes a Kryponite doobie and re-inflates, Mr. Soprano wasn't coming back. And it's really, really hard to imagine any role at all that James Gandolfini could play without seeming farcical. Hamlet? "Dancing with the Stars"? Fugetaboutit indeed. His serious career was over, though he might've pulled off a comic villain role in a Batman or something.

In Mr. G's obits I read that his early career was in comedy.

I'm a fan, but can't imagine that. If anyone has any links to his comedic work please let me know.

Dave his career may have been over as Tony soprano but he had several rolls lined up and was working steady on at least 3 movies a year. There was in the Works a or talked about a Soprano movie with the emphasis on his son so don't be surprised.
