Last nite was my 10 yr anniversary and 720th gig with the Ridgerunner band! I joined them in august-1996 and we've had a great fun time together. Great band to play with and not a hero in the bunch. They only have 1 rule--have fun!!

We play the good ol'country stuff and proud of it!!! It's been a blast!!!

Congratulations Jack, and wishing you the good luck to double your 720 gigs.

I see that you are from Enid, Oklahoma, and it reminds me of one my friends from Enid, fiddle player Clarence Bailey, who I worked with on the Merl Lindsay Band.

I also remember that Amos Headrick, who I also worked with, said very nice things about you personally and professionally.

Here's hoping that after having so many mutual acquaintances throughout the years, that we will meet personally some day.

Way to go Jack. I'm in about the same boat. I've been with Billy Mata and the Texas Tradition band for over 11 years now. Only the lead guitarist has less senority.

We also play old country and western swing and have as much fun as the law will allow.
