LOL no Rons new cd Foolproof is very good. Mike Johnson does some really nice steelwork.
It is a good mix of some older favorites and some new songs to me anyway. Dead and gone cut sure hits home these days _________________ ShowPro SD10, Mullens RP, Bose S1 Pro, GK MB200, MB500, Bugera T50 Tube amp with SlidgeRig, TC HOF reverb effect. |

Not hardly Robert, some of us were just sleeping when you posted last night. Leona has been, and is still one of my very favorites. I get to work with her every now and then, and each time is more fun than the last and leaves me looking forward to the next time. |

Love Leona and Ron. Had the honor of working with them last year. Ron hosted the Midnite Jamboree on WSM this past Saturday. _________________ LeGrande II, Nash. 112, Fender Twin Tone Master, Session 400, Harlow Dobro, R.Q.Jones Dobro |

I worked with Leona & Ronnie Stoneman in Cartersville, Ga. a few years ago and then again with her and her son Ron at the same venue the next year. We also had her in Oct. of 2011 as our featured artist at the VCMA Super Jamboree where I got to play steel & guitar with her again. IMHO she's one of the "purest" country singers I've ever heard and one of the sweetest persons in the music business... She's one fine lady and talent.........JH in Va. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |
