I had already been to the venue...loaded in and set up....then my wife and I went next door for supper.....upon returning to the club I had a wonderful surprise.....no not my b'day......I saw a couple of steel-player friends from the area...and when I looked closer, I saw him.......Who? None other than Mickey Adams.......yeah......My mouth agape......I hollered....and hugged almost at the same time......this made my week....Mickey played a set on my Fessy...(today he made some adjustments on it for me)....then played a set on guitar.....wow....I was blown away....Thanks Mickey.....you da man! Thanks to Jim Lindsey, Tommy Shown, and Billy Tam for keeping this a surprise

Hal we had as much fun surprising you!!!...I should have had a camera!
Thanks so much for your hospitality....we went back last night and played all night with Billy Tam too...I think we should move ahead with a steel show here in Zachary!....mick
