I bought a new Roland cube 80xl 3 or 4 weeks ago and have a couple of issues to ask about. I seem to have some distortion at times, it almost seems as if the input signal is too hot. Sho-Bud Super Pro totally restored. Also it seems to me that the delay tap is extraordinarily loud and hard to adjust. Any settings advice or other ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Billy

Billy regarding your questions.

The only tone issue is and i think in other post discussed. When striking 3 and 4 an overtone is heard. I describe it as piercing.

As far as delay tap, I never experienced that but mine seems to have only 2 speeds, fast and slow Question

However I do enjoy the weight savings and when power is required I take two of them with me.

Chuck

From the manual

Setting the Delay Time for Short Delay

If you hold down the switch for one second or longer, the delay time will be set to 30 ms.

Each time you then press the [REC/PLAY/DUB]
switch, the delay time will change over four steps
(30 ms/50 ms/70ms/90 ms) to a maximum of 90 ms.

*The short delay cannot be set using the foot switch.

Thanks for the input guys. I was able to go to the dealer today and learned a few things about the unit.
Your input is appreciated.
