The Jam today at the Branson Community Center was enjoyed by over 25 people! We heard a lot of enjoyable steel guitar pickin'! The band was comprised of 3 gentlemen: Russ Burns on drums, Dino Strunk on lead guitar, and Terry Bethel on bass guitar. Our regular bass player was out of town for the weekend and Mr. Terry did a great job!! Our vice-president, Charlie Steichen, provided some delightful refreshments! In case you're interested, the steel players were: Keith Hilton, Jack Musgrave, Eddie Lane, Steve Melchi, Mike Squires, and yours truly! Everybody gave their particular rendition of each song. It is so interesting to hear how each person interprets a song. Even in music, everybody is different! July is the SUPER SHOW, that's July 26, 27, and 28. Hope to see you there! _________________ Jerry and Venda |

Dino Strunk, Russ Burns and Terry Bethel
We are very fortunate to have super picker, Dino, in our group, what a great guy !
Russ has been coming for lots of years and is a great supporter of the Association.
What can you say about this guy that hasn't already been said ? Terry Bethel is a legacy in country music and a great guy with it. Great bass player by the way and he said he can even drive the bus if needed.
Keith Hilton
Jack Musgrave
Eddie Lane
Steve Melchi
Jerry Hanley
Mike Squires
Mike is also a fine fiddle player
We missed Buddy Lewis big time !! He was in New Mexico attending a funeral. |

Sorry I missed the jam but like I said that was my oldest granddaughters birthday. She was here from college in Seattle. We only get to see once a year.
Glad you all had a good time. _________________ Custom Rittenberry SD10
