Here's a very impressive interview with Mike Sweeney. One of the most tasteful players in the business and no doubt a wealth of knowledge and skill in the world of steel guitar.

Mike is one of those great players that doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

When I play a cd by Mike, he always inspires me to practice my 1,6,2m.5, progression. He sure can play, and that's for sure. Thank you Mike, you are my inspiration. Larry

Thanks Rick for posting that interview.
I agree that Mike doesn't get the credit he deserves. He is a real pro and I too love to listen to his CD's. Mike got me started when I went to his home for three days for his "boot camp" and there are several things I do every time I sit behind my steel that I learned from Mike.....thanks Mike for giving me a good start.............God bless.........clark Smile
