Hello all , I am new to this forum and desperately need assistance. I own a Marlen double neck pedal steel guitar which I purchased (used) from Herb Remington back in the late '80s. Over the next couple of years I learned just enough about playing the pedal steel to work with a band and play in public without being totally embarrassed. I honestly don't know much about the guitar itself, but based on pictures I have seen, I believe it is a Marlen D-10. The only markings I found on the guitar are two sets of numbers impressed into the edge of the wood body, perhaps a model and serial number ???? (210 037091). Until a week ago the guitar had remained in its case since last played in the mid '90s. I've now found I have disconnected wiring and no idea on how to rewire the electronics. The components are simple - a single coil pickup on each neck (three wires, red, black and bare), a two position ON-ON toggle (6 posts) for neck selection, a three position blade switch (8 posts) for tone selection, and a quarter inch output jack. There are no pots (volume or tone) and no other electronic components such as capacitors or resistors. I have adequate soldering skills to get this back together but no idea how to arrange the connections. If anyone out there has a similar guitar and electronics, a picture of yours would help a great deal. All of the components are currently disconnected from the guitar and I can provide pictures if that would be helpful. Thank you ...
