I just picked up a Zum Stage one and I was wondering if a Evans Fet 500 lv would be a good amp to start out with |

Yes. IMO better tone than any Peavey except the Session 500. Kinda heavy. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

Arguably one of the best steel amps ever made! John Hughey used them for years and I know I will always have one. In fact, I have John Hughey's and it's the best sounding Evans I've ever played through. |

You won't be disappointed with the evans. I used one for years with my sierra and LDG. Still have mine. Great amp, tons of headroom. Clean and clear tone. _________________ auribus teneo lupum |

I have an Evans FET500 LV made in 1983 this still performs better than any of my amps. I have an Evans SE200, Peavey Session 400 and Nashville 400 and after all these years my Evans FET500 will out perform them all. Gret amp. _________________ Carter D12, MSA S12, 12 String Custom Made Non-Pedal, Evans FET 500LV, Evans SE200, Peavey Nashville 400, Fender Steel King |
