Stopped in at Steel Guitar Nashville the other day and had a great conversation with Bob. What a great time we had talking over old times and the direction of music today as opposed to the early 80's. Bob it sure was nice to see you again and just wonderful visiting with you. Hope we can do it again soon!
By the way, you won't find a nicer, or more knowledgeable guy, if you're looking for something in the line of Steel guitar. Ray

Last fall my great friend Tom Palmer of D2F Covers and I had occasion to visit the store during our visit to Nashville following the big St.Louis Show.

We were mostly engaged with one fellow whom I never learned his identity........but another fellow was in an out of the room too. Both were quite friendly and conversational. I would like to have met Mr. Kemper as I've been truly impressed by his writings.

I did enjoy the visit to the store.

Bob Hempker is one of the true steel guitar greats. I got to know him when he was still touring with Loretta Lynn. He is a quiet giant in the steel guitar world and I'm proud to call him a very good friend.
