OK - Here's a question for the knowledgeable Mullen fans -
What is a Pre-Royal Precision ? Judging from the name it's Pre-Royal , hence being made before the Royal Precision - but that can't be the actual model name is it ? In what years did they make them ? Was/is there a whole lot of difference between the two ? This isn't exactly keeping me up at nights - just curious . .

Thanks for the response Jerry , and the link to the previous PRP post - And Mr. Mike Mantey gets a big attaboy for his finely detailed explaination . . There has definitely been some significant changes made between two great guitars . .

The fingers are anodized.
My pre-RP has anodized fingers.

Does the anodized finger make it better musically or physically?
What does a majority of the steelers think of the anodized fingers. better, worse or no difference
If it is better than why doesn't all the steels have them.
