I got asked to sit in, on steel, with the local country band "Country Express", while their lead guitar player is recuperating from a motorcycle accident. My friend, Larry Jamieson, who, is their regular steelman and all around musician would play rhythmn while I played the steel. It was a real honor to do this and I had a ball doing it. The band members are true professionals and coached me along as I learned to play their repertoire. It felt good to get out again and knock off the rust on my chops and my brain. I'd like to thank Larry and the band for the opportunity and the fun. If you're ever in Delaware County, NY, check their website and try to catch a gig, they're great!

John,

It was a real pleasure to have you sit in with us last
Saturday evening. You did a great job and I will certainly
call you again. I was playing rhythm guitar and singing,
and it was a treat to have your tasteful fills and instrumental "rides" as a part of our sound for the evening.
John's talented wife, Darlene, sang a couple of tunes and
also did a nice job. We certainly had fun and I'm glad you
enjoyed the gig.

Larry J.
