Is there a volume control panel somewhere in BIAB? Recently, it seems that the gain is low on tracks.

To my knowledge, BIAB basically uses your computer's own volume control. However, there is a volume level for each of the instruments and sometimes I have found that they're all set at the maximum (127) and other times they're all set around 90 and I have to increase them all. Do you know where those are? The 3rd line down from the top says: Combo Bass Piano Drums etc. Just click on the name of the instrument you want to change the volume of, and then adjust the volume arrow (up or down) on the line below that marked Volume.
Those are the only ways I've discovered to adjust BIAB volume. Maybe someone else knows more than I do (that's been known to happen once in a while  )

Thanks Jim for the response. I did see those, but I thoought there might have been an overall "gain" control somewhere. We'll see if anybody else comes back with other thoughts.

There are some styles in BIAB that have a "set" volume level and tho' the volume can be changed during playback, it will not be saved with the file. In other words, next time you open the file, the volume will be at it's pre-set level.
If you go to the PG Music website, you can check out the FAQ's and probably find one dealing with this topic.

If you get all the volumes set where you want them on a song and then go to the main file menu and select "save song with patches & harmony" it will save any changes in instruments you might have made in the style you have selected by clicking on "fill with patches" and you can also check a box to save your volume settings.

I'm not at my BIAB computer, right now, but if I remember right, you might try control, alt, shift, and either Q or W. Q lowers the volume of the whole song, while W increases the volume. Larry
