I'm hesitant to even mention this, however, it served me well for many years. Does anyone remember these old tuners? In 1993, following a 20 yr. hiatus from playing steel, I purchased it new, from a Korg dealer. Jeff Newman & I (mostly Jeff) programmed his tuning in it. The needle in the meter was always steady & accurate, everything tuned right on "zero". I used it exclusively until Peterson introduced their tuners with the Newman presets. Since then, I've used nothing but Peterson Tuners. While going through some old things, I came across my old Korg tuner, including the case & manual. I always took excellent care of it. If I remember correctly, seems like even back then, it cost almost $300. Of course, I removed the batteries whenever I retired it & packed it away. Today, just for the heck of it (nostalgic senior moment), I installed some batteries and it lit right up......but it didn't retain those presets of long ago. So, I took out the manual & began reading. It might as well have been written in ancient Greek as I can't comprehend the instructions whatsoever. Again, it isn't that important, but any advice or pointers on re-programming the presets would be greatly appreciated. I would kind of enjoy occasionally using it again. Thanks.
