Classic. Phrasing that is soooo in the pocket and super clean blocking.

I like this old tune, too. There was a great video of Tom Morrell playing it here on the Forum a while back. I believe he called it "Blue Steel blues".

Didn't find it on iTunes... it's on Amazon... but there's one less for sale now! I'm listening to the tune over and over... it's not getting old.

PS if you look at the player Steve posted the album name
"Tulsa Straight Ahead" and release date (2009) are shown.

Hmm... reminds me of the White Hut in West Springfield. Burgers, dogs, and fries Only, cash Only, since 1939. I just drove by there yesterday!

The track is available on the afore mentioned CDs "Tulsa straight ahead” from Bear Family’s “ Gonna shake this shack tonight “ series( BCD 16987 AH ) featuring Leon’s Columbia recordings from ‘49 - ‘55 and Columbia's various artists “Hillbilly Boogie”( CK 53940 ). Both fine albums. “If you don't have fun it's your own darn fault” !Steve
