This was my pickup of choice on all but one of my Carter's. Smooth sound and no brassy.
Good price also. |

I can vouch for these particular pick-ups as Bobby got them from me in a deal we recently made. Like my brother, Ferguson, I had Geoge L TPPP's in both my Carter's. When I got my first Carter in 1997, I was playing a SuperPro with BL705's. Based on my satisfaction with that sound, John Fabian and Billy Phelps recommended the TPPP's. These were on my 1999 green Carter until I replaced them with Alumitones 4-5 years ago,
How's that for a quick bump? _________________ Bill Cunningham

Bill, and my other bother Bill. Thanks for the positive input.
Baxter. Yes they are wide mounts. I just assumed the pictures covered that. My bad.

Bobby, for my educational purposes, are these single coils or humbuckers. I know nothing about TPPP pickups.
Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry did some research. They are not single coils as I thought. But two coil humbuckers. Sorry for the confusion. I'll edit my earlier post.

I did a search and the George L's site had this info:
They are a stacked humbucker (single coil configuration). So, apparantly they are humbuckers made to look like single coils. I think I am going to like them. Bobby, how shall I pay you? I think you can figure a small USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail box at $5.35 to cover postage. I know you live a good distance out of town so no hurry in shipping. Just whenever you are going to town for other reasons will be fine.
