When you say 'won't shut off' does that mean that it won't lower the volume? Or that the lamp won't turn off?
LDR pedals have a mechanical system where the light from a lamp, LED whatever is exposed gradually to a CdS photoresistor (the Light Dependent Resistor) using a shutter system. Sounds like your shutter has come loose... you should be able to open the case and see what's wrong inside. It could also be a burnt-out lamp... the LDR can be either a pass element (sound goes through it) or, more likely, a shunt element (it shorts out the sound)... if the lamp is burnt out then it won't shunt the signal. Open it up and check it out. _________________ New FB Page: Lap Steel Licks And Stuff: https://www.facebook.com/groups/195394851800329 |

The LDR2 has 2 light bulbs so it will still work when 1 bulb burns out. But definitely look inside. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) .
