My name is Gary Schlotterbeck; I grew up in Hagerstown Maryland in the West End of town. My uncle Hubert died in 1948 about 18 months before I was born in November of 1949. He had bought a Gibson BR-9 when he returned home from the war in 1946. When I turned six; I was given Hubert's BR-9. Over the years I learned as much as I could on my own, then in the 1970's I met LT Zinn in Chambersburg PA. I eventually stepped up to pedal steel with a Sho~Bud Pro III. Then in 1986 I was in a bad wreck and lost my pitch as a result of getting my head banged around. I recently had surgery that has resulted in better and clearer hearing. My hope is to retrain my ears so I can play again. I'm open to suggestions. |

Best wishes Gary. If you need a steel, look at the StageOne. Reasonable and has all you need on E9. _________________ Amateur Radio Operator NA4IT (Extra)

I may, in fact, be nuts. However, I am screwed onto the right bolt... Jesus! |

Great news! I don't know what I'd do if my hearing went bad. You've been given a huge gift back. _________________ Zum Encore, Zum Stage One, Fender 2000, Harlan Bros., Multi-Kord, |
