After looking at hundreds of pictures of all you playing your Pedal Steel Guitars, I've got to tell you: no one looks cool playing a Pedal Steel Guitar.

Everyone looks like they are bent over their sewing machines.

How about posting some cool pictures of you playing? Is there such a thing?

Every time I see your profile pictures I want to order a suit with two pairs of pants.

Smile

Can somebody post that old black and white photo of Buddy playing the steel behind his back? I can't find it.

Added 10/23/12: Merci, CrowBear!

Well, that is pretty cool, but is that the best ya got? One old black and white photo?

Obviously, we need a contest.

Here is a proposal:

1. Post the coolest picture OF YOURSELF playing the steel.
2. I will donate $50 to the forum in the name of the person who posted the COOLEST photo of themselves.

Here are the rules:

1. At least 20 people have to post or no donation.
2. I get final decision on which is the coolest.
3. When no more entries are in, I will declare a winner and will send b0b $50 in their name.

Any takers, or are you all too scared, hiding behind the great Mr. E?

While nowhere near the "coolness" of any of the above,
I'll be the first to respond to Bill's request:

I looked thru recent photos and this is a cool as I can find, while at PSG.
(it's so much easier to look cool holding a Tele)

edited to add: I believe you Barry, so I'm the second to post...
