What a great night Sunday July 2, 06, at Pearl's Dance Hall, Fort Worth, TX. The group "The Insiders" paved the way for the Great Johnny Bush on stage, who kept inviting friends up to sing. On stage at the same time was Johnny Bush, Tommy Alverson, Justin Trevino on bass, and Heather Myles! Gary Carpenter on steel, Reggie Rippa(sp?) on fiddle. Johnny Lang, got up and sang, as well as a young gent in a ball cap/wire frame specs who's name eludes me, but he led the pack singing Dim Light's Thick Smoke and chewed up that tele playing lead. Someone please help me with his name!

Pearls was standing room only, and it don't get any better than this!! I just may have to move to Texas someday!

Hey James, I did. I moved from Lawton to Bellville Tx. It about 50 miles west of Houston. I am just a few miles away from the best music anywhere. Houston, Austin and Colege station always has great music. Come on down an visit when you can.

James, You know everything is bigger and better here in Texas. Just out of curosity, did you crawl backwards on your belly to see these guys play? I am sure you will remember what you said earlier this year. Sure sounds like they put on a good show down at Pearl's.

Just kiddin...drop me an email so we can get started on Septs agenda (when you have time and aint gallavantin across the border) Its like those Lone Stars, at first you think that the brewer should go straight to jail, then after one or two cases it's the "only" thing to have...must be in the water
