Do you mean Bump Porter. Great player who lived in New England during the 80's.

Is this the Bump Potter that played with an old Bass playing friend of mine named Paul Brunk? Paul is now deceased and mentioned a Bump Potter from Ottumwa many times with complimentary fondness..
