Just found out yesterday that my friend Ridley (also known at Tommy) Dickinson passed away Wednesday at a nursing home in Waco Texas. Ridley was from the Abbott area but played around Temple and Central Texas area for many years. He was a fiddle player in the style of Tommy Jackson would be my best description. He was always a crowd pleaser with both his fiddling and singing. I was able to visit with Ridley for an hour or so in March of this year. He will be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him. His favorite song to sing was "Lonely Nights". He used to play with Willie back in the day. RIP.

George, sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. It seems the older we get the more frequently we have to deal with it. My condolences to you and his family.
