Thaks Mike, was wandering who the fiddlers were. That must have been in the 60's.

I think this photo would be about 1968. My band and I opened a show for Hank and band at the Ft Carson Golden Boot NCO club in this time frame and these guys were in the band.

I saw this band in Greensboro, N. C. about the time Bert got his steel from Leonard.

This picture was also in the biography of Hank that I got at the Dallas show a couple of years ago. Curtis Potter was there at the time and he gave me an autograph over the picture.

Always enjoyed Hank's music, and had the chance to see him when I lived in Colorado, and when he appeared at the Midwest Country Theater in Sandstone, Minnesota.

Does anyone have any pics of Hank's band when Big Jim Murphy was playing steel for him? I've googled till my googler got tired and never did find any.

Unless I'm mistaken that Marlen only has one knee lever on it. I wonder how he played with only one knee lever? Also, the drummer doesn't have 20 cymbals. How'd he do that?

The band I was with did a joint tour with Hanks band in early 1964, and the band members were the same as in the picture except I don't remember Curtis Potter being there. That was Bert's first tour with Hank following the departure of Chalker.
