It was Jerry's playing that inspired me and really got me serious about Steel Guitar.
I wrote two instrumentals in his memory. One is on the Forum CD called "My Mentor". This is another
I composed on my E9/6 tuning.

Beautiful song, Roy. And you have captured the touch and smoothness of the "Master of touch and tone." Great stuff...enjoyed it tremendously.

Excellent work, but I have a question. If one adds a 6th to an E9 tuning, wouldn't that tuning then be called E13 as opposed to E9/6th?

Very nice, Roy and truly in the spirit of the way JB approached the instrument. |

Thanks so much everyone!
Tony, It is just a silly way I have for remembering this tuning or setup. It lays out as follows:
High To Low: E--C#--B--G#--F#--E--B--E _________________ Custom Tabs Various Tunings

For those interested in playing learning this song I posted today the complete tablature in the " Tablature " section of the Forum. Look for
Non Pedal Tablature at the top.
