Yep...the V8 Octal is in my secret corner in the studio where I play my special guitars with a TC reverb pedal. Inspiring!

Randy, Lee or others..

I'm wondering what amp/speakers/efx you are using and your signal path.

I've got mine in a rack with the output into a Nanoverb 2 feeding a Genz Benz 300w Class D amp.

Sounds pretty good to me.

I like to gain it up and let it talk/groan a little if you know what I mean..

Although I've seen some guys say no black box needed, I do like the pickup loading I get from the Revelation so I got a black box coming to put in the rack. Anyone using a BB with the V8?

I'm using this into a Furlong CB12. I love the simplicity of it all. I've had a lot of different reverbs in a lot of different amps and boxes. I played through the mono Wet Reverb and that was it.

I also really like the XLR-send on the back of the V8. Now, when an engineer approaches me onstage or in the studio with that "how do I handle this pedal steel thing here" look, I just point to the jack on the back. Again, real simple.

I use basically the same setup as Eric except a TC Hall of Fame reverb.
