How about
11P8/10/9A/7/5LKL all open
If you want a solution without double-footing, you're on yer own _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

I guess that depends on exactly what is the Reece Anderson Bb6 tuning. |

On C6th, if you raise your A's to A# and apply pedal 6, those notes are available at the second fret on strings 5,6,8,9, and 10. |

That is true, I'd forgotten that one is not entirely standardized.
But if you drop 11 to D with P8, there you go. I'll poke around and see if I see any more 4th-4th-4th-M3rds without resorting to my extra pedals. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

On the Bb6th tuning, that change is available on pedal 2. So that still looks like double footing, but on fret 3 _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

i believe that is only true if you raise both A's to A# so that string 8 becomes C which the BE standard C6 doesn't do for the notes annotated in the original post |

Ebb, he said he had a universal tuning. The B pedal does that on every guitar, E9/B6, B6/E9 or Bb6 _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

(low to high) D - G - C - F - A
If you're willing to slant, string 8 at the 10th fret to string 3 at the 5th fret:
G - A - C - D - F - You have to skip the 4th string.
String 9 at the 9th fret to string 5 at the 5th fret:
D - F - G - C - skip the 6th string |

I think that if you plan to play a bunch of quartal stuff, you may wish to add some changes to support it. If you take the. 5st string pull from P3, that'd help _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Ulrick...On my C6, I have a pedal that's the equivalent of the 9th string/Bb-C raise on pedal 1 of Reece's most recent setup. (in my case...C-D)That's my first choice when I want the chord you're looking for. Love it!!! Raising both B flats kinda cancels that out, but I'm sure it has many other uses.
There's always a trade off... |
