Our friend from South Africa has done it again -- how do those guys on the other side of the pond do it? He can play country songs as well (or better) than most of us that invented the stuff. And his latest, "Steel Heaven" CD, is right on. Contains 10 songs, like:
"She Thinks I Still Care", "Detroit City", "Borrowed Angel", and many others, but three songs in particular really show his talents on the steel. "Home In San Antone" is a great up tempo offering, but when he came out with "You Took Her Off My Hands", and its title song, "Steel Heaven", he revealed how great, emotionally, he can pick. A terrific CD. Give him a try at: alsaut@absamail.co.za |

Hey Clint !....glad you liked it.
The next offering will perhaps be a Gospel CD.
It is a rather slow process sifting through the titles to find something that hasn't been played to death yet.
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks again for your support.

Nic - the CD arrived yesterday (Sat) and it is great. I love all of the tunes, especially the title tune, "Steel Heaven" but after about 3 times thru, I think cut # 9 is my favorite, "Ten Thousand Years". Thanks - Skip |
